How loss of strength may feel and common patterns
People describe loss of strength as an inability to lift or hold objects, difficulty rising from a chair, or a general reduction in physical power. Distinguish true weakness from tiredness: fatigue often worsens with activity and improves with rest, while true muscle weakness may persist after rest. Patterns matter—sudden, one-sided weakness has different causes than slowly progressive, symmetrical weakness.
